There's something unforgettable about a CN Tower proposal. High above the Toronto skyline, with panoramic views stretching across the city, it's one of the most iconic places to ask one of life's biggest questions. Errol planned every detail perfectly, creating a proposal that was both romantic and uniquely Toronto.
The evening began with a beautiful dinner at the 360 Restaurant at the CN Tower, where Errol and Kristine enjoyed incredible food while taking in the breathtaking views overlooking downtown Toronto and Lake Ontario. As the sun slowly began to lower, the anticipation continued to build.
After dinner, Errol led Kristine onto the famous CN Tower Glass Floor, where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Surrounded by the city skyline hundreds of metres below, it was an emotional moment filled with excitement, happy tears, and one very easy "yes." Watching everything unfold naturally made it such a privilege to document this incredible milestone.
With the excitement of the proposal settling in, we made our way through downtown Toronto toward Union Station for the second half of the session. As the evening light turned golden, the city's historic architecture created the perfect contrast to the modern skyline we had just left behind. The grand stone columns, timeless archways, and elegant exterior gave us endless opportunities for romantic engagement portraits.
One of my favourite parts of the session was how relaxed everything felt after the proposal. The nerves had disappeared, allowing Errol and Kristine to simply enjoy being together. Between laughter, quiet embraces, and soaking in the excitement of being newly engaged, every photograph reflected the genuine joy they shared.
As the sun set over downtown Toronto, we captured the final portraits surrounded by the warm evening light and the historic beauty of Union Station. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable proposal, combining two of Toronto's most iconic locations into one incredible story.
